April’s Acres Alpacas is located 8 miles west of Junction City, Oregon; just 20 minutes north of the Eugene Airport in the beautiful coast range.

April’s Acres Alpacas began in early 1992 when we traded a restored, Candy Apple Red Corvette for our first two alpacas. Incorporating our experience with farm animals and our love for house pets, April’s Acres expanded quickly -- by year’s end our herd included four bred females, a herd sire, and a younger male who would himself soon prove his worth as a herd sire.

Our herd now ranges between 25 and 30 animals in a wonderful variety of colors. Each individual alpaca gets hands-on attention, creating sweet, good tempered animals that are easy to train and care for.

Alpacas have been a joy to our lives, and will be for you. In addition, they are a profitable investment, as high quality breeding stock is needed to satisfy an ever increasing fiber market.
